The way that your jewelry fits you and lays on you is important for both of us. If it fits and lays right, you know it. It looks and feels good.
Sometimes a piece doesn't lay right because of it's size, length, style, or the way it was made. Sometimes it's due to the way our bodies are structured. Sometimes a person's day-to-day wardrobe and the style of neckline that is worn makes different lengths or styles of necklaces not "look right" to you. -- When these types of situations occur, my custom jewelry-making is the best way to go.
If you like a piece of jewelry that I have made but it doesn't fit you (as in the above-mentioned cases), or you would like it in a different color, different length, etc., there's a good chance I can accommodate your needs. There's also a fair chance that it will not cost extra. If I already have plenty of the items in my inventory to make one to your liking, there will be no extra cost. (Unless I have to use a lot more pieces, etc.) If the item is labor-intensive or uses expensive items, I will, however ask for one half of the total price down, before I begin making it. If I don't have the items in stock and have to order them, I'll first have to check to see if they're available and what the costs will be. Then, same thing.... one-half of the total price down. --- Then there are the items that are just no longer made because the company went out of business, or the company discontinued the part(s). In the descriptions of all of my jewelry here on the website, I do my best to clearly indicate which ones I can not make more of. -- I keep a few pieces in stock, just in case an earring was lost so I can make the customer a new one (usually costing $5. to $10.), or for repairs.
If you have purchased a piece from me and you would like it to be changed somehow, please don't ever hesitate to contact me! Let me know what you would like different. If your purchased item was shipped to you, we'll work that out too. Just depending on the circumstances and what can be done about the jewelry piece, it might be that you send the item back and I deduct your shipping cost back to me from the amount you pay for the "new, improved version" that you requested (if I have to add a lot of pieces), or ?. Whatever the case may be, you'll be taken good care of here!
