I have been busy making a totally new item for you---Ponchos! I've also been making hats to match, and will also be making headbands to match for another option. I plan to make slippers to match as well to round out the whole comfy, cozy, warm kick-back experience! I am really loving the ponchos and I hope you will too! They are my own design, my own pattern. They take quite a while to make, some using four skeins plus of yarn to make. The style that I am making is not a loosely knit pattern with big holes in it. Making those would go a lot faster and use less yarn, but I wanted to make stylish ponchos that were also made to really help keep the chill off. The cool Spring days, cool mornings and nights.... These ponchos will serve for more than just looks. I've been mostly using a combination of solid colors with yarns that change color. The yarns that change color cost more and are much smaller skeins, so unfortunately those will cost a little more. So far, I have a dark Hunter Green with a beautiful color-changing yarn, Coffee Brown with changing colors of brown, one with Reds, and one with Black and beautiful rich changing blue colors. I also have a lighter green one planned, as well as different "Camo" colors and others. If you like to take photos of wildlife, these might be a great option. Another really great plus to these ponchos is that they are super easy to wash and dry really fast! No special pesky hassle.
I have some really sweet Valentine's Day items and really cute Easter items too coming up. And of course, I'm also planning on Mother's Day. I plan to make earrings that look like a flower in a vase, dangle heart earrings, Shamrock items, a very cute little mouse holding a heart, cute ducklings, etc. Also new this year is the timeless, lovable Snoopy! I still have all of the items needed to make up baskets and small gift baskets, so we can do that too!
During the slow winter months I am always busy making new items for the upcoming holidays as well as for the busy selling season that begins in March. By the time the December holidays are over, I am usually out of or pretty low on the most popular items. During this time I also take on-line classes, read up on techniques, technology, network with others, and see what's new, trending, and on sale. --I'm not on-line as much, but I'm still very much here and busy as a bee! That said, if you have a question, request, or would like a custom piece/set, etc., please feel free to call or text me.
